The Open Charge Alliance's first Australian Plugfest. Day one is the conference — grid integration, cybersecurity, lessons from other markets and implementation readiness — followed by two days of round-robin interoperability testing across OCPP 1.6, 2.0.1 and 2.1. Charging hardware manufacturers, software developers, grid operators and policymakers test their systems against multiple partners and find the compatibility problems before customers do. OCA members attend free with a discount code, and there is a cheaper online tester option if you want to join the testing without flying to Canberra.
